I got my worktops from a house in fulham that was making way for a big basement. I am very happy to have it as the material is much better than wood for a worktop. Between each section is a full side panel that you'll use when prying up the countertops. You'll pry the countertops up with a wrecking bar that is wedged between the cabinet and countertop. Wedging will break the adhesive apart allowing for the removal of the countertop.
Open cabinets or remove upper drawers to inspect the underside of the Corian countertop for screws or any other objects that secure it into place. Use a screw driver or screw gun to remove any fasteners. Look on top of the countertop near the wall for any backsplashes. Most Corian countertops will have a backsplash of the same material, either attached or a separate piece. Everything went smoothly.
Our team removed the counters and stored them in the homeowners garage while the cabinet guys did their work. In a couple weeks we came back, made the cut, did the seam, installed the counter tops on the new cabinets and refinished the Corian.
