I think it was the Ghmorra. I ended up giving him a sniper rifle and machette he used the rifle but I dont think Boone has ever used the Machette.
He will throw frag granades but sometimes at you lol. Ok I rambled enough so I noticed after visiting the Tops and exiting he had his hidden weapons back but he still used the sniper rifle and the ammo I gave him.
