Comment by Thottbot The dragon will come out. It's not a bug. When you plant the flag just in front of the entrance to the cave, the dragon appears. It begins blowing fire at you but will not come out until you are closer to it.
Get closer to the dragon and it will follow you. I recommend fighting it outside, not in the cave. One each of these and maybe drain life and the beast is dead. Good luck! I could click it and it'd channel and I'd lean down to pick something up but that's it. Seems you have to wait some time for it to 'respawn' even though it is visible. Once this was complete I was able to pick up Banner of the Stonemaul. The entrance to the Den of Flame is at Once inside the cave, the Stonemaul Banner is at Comment by CzechCloud Its inside the cave, no need to fly furiously in trying to find it.
